On 6 October, the MSMHC, Italian Delegtion came together to celebrate the twin feasts: Delegation Day and the Opening of the Platinum Jubilee of the congregation. A meaningful prayer service conducted in an ambience of serenity followed by the celebration of the holy Eucharist marked the occasion. 

During the prayer service Sr. Martha D’Rosario, the Delegate Superior and Sr. Veronica Maiong, the Vice Delegate Superior lighted Indian lamp from which the community lighted their lamps and placed before the decorated picture of Mary Help of Christians and the Founder. On concluding the prayer service, Sr. Martha unveiled the Jubilee emblem and officially declared the platinum jubilee year open. 

The prayer service was followed by a solemn Mass celebrated by Fr. Nallayan SDB in the community chapel at Crocetta. In his homily Fr. Nallayan highlighted the function of the flowers that spread fragrance all around and exhorted the Sisters to carry out their works of love to bring God’s Kingdom around.
