On 18 September 2016, the dream of the MSMHC to have a house in Rome was realised as the Congregation began its mission at Ostia, Rome. The Centre falls under Santa Maria dei Pellegrini, a sub-centre of San Tommaso Apostolo Parish. 

The pioneering members of the Centre are: Sr. Jessy K Jose, Sr. Angeline Lotsuro and Sr. Bridget Jacob.  They were officially welcomed by the parish community on the opening day’s Holy Mass.

Taking care of the main parish and the sub-centre, catechism classes, family visit, giving communion to the sick are some of the activities the Sisters carry out in the centre.
